Certifications
Every leader faces chaos. Very few are formally certified to master it. You could be one of them.
WHY CERTIFICATION MATTERS
Most leadership training ends with a certificate of completion. You sat through it. You passed. Here’s your PDF.
This isn’t that.
The Tactical Leader Certification is earned through demonstrated competency — assessed in real time, by a real standard. It means you've been tested on what you know, who you are, and what you can do with a team under constant pressure.
For the leader, it's proof that when chaos hits — and it will — you're ready. And you can show it.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Certified leaders leave with three things that matter:
Mastery. You can articulate all six core competencies fluently and in multiple ways — not because you memorized them, but because you actually understand them. And you can teach them.
Self-Awareness. You know exactly who you are as a leader and can clearly articulate it. Your strengths, your gaps, your style under pressure. No guessing. No blind spots.
Diagnostic Ability. You can step back, assess your team objectively, and identify where strengths exist and where they don’t, using measured, analytical methods.
HOW YOU EARN IT
Certification requires three components:
1. Module Completion. Complete all six core competency modules and answer assessment questions for each one. [Modules are linked here.]
2. Case Studies. Work through two to three real-world case studies as independent assignments. Application, not theory.
3. Live Interview. A structured hour interview with Kevin Black is the final step in the process.
THE SIX CORE COMPETENCIES
Each module is approximately three hours of core instruction.
TIME COMMITMENT
Approximately 30 to 36 hours total, to include core instruction plus applied work, including case studies, assessments, homework, and interview preparation. Designed to be completed no later than nine months from start.
