This video explains the biggest trap in communication: most people speak in descriptions, not definitions. Descriptions are perceptual—true observations and examples—but they don’t identify what makes a concept distinct. Definitions are conceptual—they isolate the essential elements that give a topic its specific nature and boundaries.
